Every rock wants to be a sculpture and the “Levitated Mass” of Michael Heizer is no exception. Trapped within its naturally sculpted shape is another work of art waiting to be released by a Michelangelo or a Praxiteles. However, this won’t happen as the rock is destined for immortality in the raw.
